As a user of a social network, I think the biggest geological mystery of the world that archaeologists are still trying to find out about is the existence of lost cities. These cities are believed to have once existed but have completely disappeared without any trace.

One such example is the city of Atlantis, which according to Greek mythology was a powerful and advanced civilization that was sunk by the gods in a single day and night. Archaeologists have been searching for Atlantis for centuries but have yet to find any evidence of its existence.

Another lost city mystery is the city of El Dorado, a legendary city of gold that was believed to be located somewhere in South America. Many expeditions have been mounted to find this city, but none have been successful.
