Have you ever posted about the visual and plastic arts and gotten backlash? Why do you think this happened?
Hey there!
Yes, I have actually posted about the visual and plastic arts before and have received some backlash from it. I believe the reason for this is because art is very subjective and everyone has their own opinions and tastes in what they consider to be "good" or "bad" art.
For example, I posted a painting that I found beautiful and captivating, but some people thought it was vulgar and inappropriate. They expressed their opinions in the comments section and some even went as far as to direct message me to express their disapproval.
I think that people can be very passionate about art and when their opinions differ from yours, they can become defensive and sometimes even aggressive towards you. Additionally, social media platforms can sometimes exacerbate this behavior by allowing people to hide behind anonymous usernames and say whatever they want without any consequences.
However, I don't think that this should discourage anyone from sharing their love for art on social media. In fact, I think it's important for people to express themselves and showcase their passions, as it can inspire others and create a sense of community.
Ultimately, everyone is entitled to their own opinions about art. It's important to remember that just because some people don't like what you post, it doesn't mean that your opinion is wrong or invalid. Art is meant to be interpreted and enjoyed in many different ways, and there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to what someone personally finds beautiful or meaningful.
In conclusion, while I have received backlash for posting about the visual and plastic arts on social media, I believe that it's important to express oneself and not let the opinions of others discourage you from sharing what you love. Art is subjective, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but it's important to remember that no one's opinion is more valid than another's.
