How does Justice come into play in a Democratic society?

In a democratic society, Justice is very important. Justice is about treating people fairly and equally. This means everyone should have the same rights and opportunities.

In a democratic society, we have rules that help us live together peacefully. These rules are called laws. Everyone has to follow the laws, even the people in charge of making them. This is called the rule of law.

Justice comes into play when someone breaks the law. If someone does something wrong, they should be punished. But it's important that the punishment is fair too. If someone is treated unfairly, that's not justice.

There are many people who work to make sure justice is served in our society. One of these people is a judge. A judge is like a referee in a game. They listen to both sides of an argument and then make a decision based on the law.

Another important person is a lawyer. A lawyer helps people who have been accused of a crime. They make sure their client's rights are protected and that they are treated fairly.

Overall, justice is an important part of living in a democratic society. It means treating people fairly and equally, following the rules, and punishing those who break the rules in a fair way.
