Karma is a concept that revolves around the idea of cause and effect. It is believed that every action we take has consequences. If we do good things, good things will happen to us, and if we do bad things, bad things will happen to us. However, with technology and social media, the distance between cause and effect has become broader, which means it can take longer for consequences to appear.

Let's say you post a picture that offends someone on social media. The effects of that post might not show up immediately. Days, weeks, or even months later, someone could bring up that post and hold it against you. Or, you could lose friendships, job opportunities, or future relationships because of your past behavior.

In a similar way, technology and social media have made it easier for people to do bad things anonymously. They hide behind fake profiles, bully, and harass others without facing immediate consequences. This is a deviation from the principles of karma because people who do bad things should face the consequences of their actions.
