Can a country be considered a Cosmopolitan society, or is this concept limited to individuals?

A country can definitely be considered a cosmopolitan society. While the traditional definition of cosmopolitanism refers to individuals who have a global perspective and embrace cultural diversity, the same principles can be applied to a nation as a whole.
