One of the most unique street foods I have ever tried was in Seoul, South Korea. I stumbled upon a small food stall on one of the bustling streets of the Myeong-dong district, which is famous for its street food scene. As soon as I saw the brightly lit signboard advertising "Tornado Potato," I knew I had to give it a try.

The vendor took a large potato and skewered it on a stick, which he then cut into a continuous spiral with a special cutter. He then coated the potato with a mixture of spices and deep-fried it until it turned golden brown. Once the potato was cooked, he then dusted it with more spices and served it up piping hot.

The Tornado Potato was unlike anything I had ever tasted before. The crispy exterior gave way to a softer, almost creamy potato interior that was infused with the rich spices. The unique spiral shape of the potato made it easy to eat on-the-go, and it was the perfect snack to munch on as I explored the vibrant streets of the city.

Another interesting street food that I tried was in Hong Kong. I was browsing through the stalls of the famous Temple Street Night Market when I stumbled upon a vendor selling "stinky tofu." At first, the name put me off, but I decided to be adventurous and give it a try.

The mealworms had a slightly chewy texture, almost like chewy candy. While some may find the thought of eating insects revolting, I found it to be a truly unique and unforgettable culinary experience.
