When it comes to environmental design, I absolutely believe that it will eventually become the norm rather than the exception. We are already seeing a shift in the architectural and design fields towards creating buildings and spaces that are sustainable, energy-efficient, and environmentally conscious.

One reason that this shift is happening is because of the growing awareness and concern about the impact that humans are having on the planet. As people become more informed about issues such as climate change, pollution, and resource depletion, they are demanding that designers and builders prioritize sustainability and minimize their negative impact on the environment.

Another reason that environmental design is becoming more prevalent is because of advancements in technology and materials. From solar panels and wind turbines to green roofs and recycled building materials, there are now more options than ever for creating sustainable buildings that are also aesthetically pleasing and functional.

Of course, there are still challenges to overcome before environmental design becomes the norm. One of the biggest challenges is cost. Sustainable materials and technologies can often be more expensive than traditional building materials, which could deter some designers and builders from incorporating them. However, as the demand for sustainable design increases, prices will likely come down and become more affordable over time.

Another challenge is convincing people that environmental design is necessary and beneficial. While many people are already on board with sustainability, there are still those who view it as a niche or unnecessary focus. However, as we continue to see the negative effects of climate change and resource depletion, I think more people will realize that sustainability is not only important, but essential for our survival as a species.
