How has Marxism impacted political and social philosophy throughout history?

Marxism is a big and complicated idea, but I'll try to explain it in a way that is easy to understand. Marxism is a way of looking at the world that says that everything is made up of two parts: the people who do the work, and the people who own the stuff. For example, let's say you have a lemonade stand. You do all the work, making the lemonade and selling it, but your parents own the stand and the cups and the lemonade mix. According to Marxism, your parents are the owners and you are the worker.

Marxism started a long time ago, in the 1800s, when a man named Karl Marx wrote a book called "The Communist Manifesto". In this book, Marx said that the worker should be in charge, not the owners. He said that owners were only interested in making money, and didn't care about the workers. Marx thought that if the workers got together and formed a group, they could take control and make things better for themselves.

Marxism has had a big impact on political and social philosophy throughout history. A lot of people have been inspired by his ideas and have tried to put them into practice. Some countries, like Russia and China, became communist countries and tried to follow Marx's ideas. They tried to get rid of the rich people and the owners and make everyone equal. But it didn't always work out the way they wanted it to.

Even though communism hasn't always been successful, Marxism has still had an impact on the way people think. A lot of people think that capitalism (which is when the owners are in charge) isn't fair, and that workers should have more power. Some people have tried to come up with new ways to organize society based on Marxist ideas.
