What literary techniques does the author incorporate in their writing?

Oh boy, literary techniques! You're asking a book nerd like me about a subject that's dear to my heart.

First and foremost, I have to say that the author of the book I just read was a master of literary techniques. They wove together a tapestry of words that left me breathless and mesmerized from start to finish.

Let's start with imagery. This author had a way of describing scenes that made me feel like I was there. I could almost smell the salty ocean air and feel the dampness of the fog on my skin. It was like I was standing right next to the characters, watching their lives unfold before my eyes.

Next up, we have symbolism. This author used symbols to convey deeper meanings that went beyond the surface of the story. For example, a recurring motif of a yellow bird represented the protagonist's hope and resilience in the face of adversity. It added another layer of depth to the already rich story.
