Currently, there are a lot of big issues happening in the world that are affecting the film industry. One of the biggest issues is the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this virus, a lot of movie theaters have had to close down or limit the number of people who can come to see a movie. This has caused a big decrease in the amount of money that people are spending on going to the movies.

Because people can’t go to the movies as much as they used to, there has been a big increase in people watching movies at home. Streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime have become very popular because people can watch movies from the comfort of their own home. This has caused a big change in how movies are being released. Filmmakers are now beginning to release their movies on these streaming services instead of in the theaters.

Another issue that is affecting the film industry is the Black Lives Matter movement. This movement is bringing attention to the mistreatment of Black people in the United States. In response to this movement, the film industry is trying to be more diverse and inclusive. There is a big push to have more Black actors, directors, and writers in movies.
