How did the Trail of Tears impact the relations between Native Americans and the US government?

The Trail of Tears was a very sad event in the history of America. It happened a long time ago, in the 1800s. It was when Native Americans were forced to leave their homes and move to different places far away. It was a long and difficult journey that they had to make on foot, and many people got sick and died along the way.

The Trail of Tears had a very big impact on the relations between Native Americans and the US government. Before the Trail of Tears, Native Americans had their own land and their own way of life. They had treaties with the US government that promised to protect their land and their way of life.

But then, the US government wanted the land that Native Americans lived on. They wanted it for themselves and for their own people. So, they made the Native Americans leave their homes and move to different places far away. This was very unfair and it made Native Americans very angry and sad.

The Trail of Tears was a very bad thing and it broke the trust that Native Americans had with the US government. After the Trail of Tears, Native Americans felt like they couldn't trust the US government anymore, because they had broken their promises and hurt them very badly.

Even today, many Native Americans are still angry about what happened during the Trail of Tears. They want the US government to apologize for what they did and do more to make things right. The Trail of Tears was a very sad part of American history, but we can learn from it and work to make things better in the future.
