2. Petra, Jordan - This unique ancient city is carved into the rose red cliffs of southern Jordan and was an important center for trade, culture, and religion in the ancient world. The most famous building here is the Treasury, which was featured in the Indiana Jones movie.

3. Cairo, Egypt - This bustling city on the Nile River is home to many ancient wonders, including the Giza pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. It was the center of one of the world's earliest civilizations and has a rich history spanning over 5000 years.
