The most common subordinating conjunctions ar "because", "if", and "when". "Because" is used to show a cause-and-effect relationship, like "I stayed home because it was raining." "If" is used to show a conditional relationship, like "If I win the lottery, I will buy a house." "When" is used to show a time relationship, like "I will call you when I get home."

Correlative conjunctions are pairs of conjunctions that work together to connect words, phrases, or clauses. The most common correlative conjunctions are "either/or", "neither/nor", and "both/and". "Either/or" is used to show a choice, like "You can either have ice cream or cake." "Neither/nor" is used to show that neither of two things is true, like "I neither like pizza nor pasta." "Both/and" is used to show that two things are true, like "I need both milk and eggs to make pancakes."
