To tackle this problem, the government has been building more water treatment plants to clean up the water. They have also been encouraging people to use water more wisely by not wasting it.

Another country that faces a big risk of water scarcity is South Africa. South Africa has been going through a drought, which means there has not been enough rain to fill up the rivers and lakes.
