Well, there are quite a few challenges to studying epistemology in today's society. For starters, the nature of knowledge and what constitutes "truth" has become increasingly difficult to pin down. With the rise of postmodernism and the "fake news" phenomenon, people are becoming more skeptical of traditional sources of information, like news media and academic institutions. This is leading to a general sense of epistemic crisis, where people don't know who or what to trust.

Another major challenge to the study of epistemology is the sheer amount of information that's available to us. With the rise of the internet and social media, we're bombarded with an overwhelming amount of potential sources of knowledge. While this can be empowering, it can also be paralyzing. How do we sort through all of this information to find the truth?
