Last but not least, we have the United States. While the US may not come to mind immediately when you think of geologic hazards, it's actually home to many areas that are at risk. The West Coast, for example, is home to the infamous San Andreas fault line, which has caused devastating earthquakes in the past and is predicted to cause more in the future. Hawaii is also home to several active volcanoes, including Kilauea, which erupted in 2018 and caused widespread destruction.
