However, I don't want to make too many sweeping generalizations. Women can definitely be just as into edgy humor as men, and men can enjoy playful and silly jokes too. But there does seem to be a tendency for men to enjoy more aggressive humor, and for women to prefer humor that is more gentle and cute.
