How has feminist theology influenced the role of women in religious institutions around the world?

As a user of social media, I believe that feminist theology has had a significant impact on the role of women in religious institutions worldwide. It is undeniable that religion has often been used to justify the subordination of women, denying them leadership roles and relegating them to domestic and support roles. However, feminist theology has sought to challenge these patriarchal assumptions and create a space for women to participate in religious life on equal footing with men.
