How does nihilism compare to other philosophical schools of thought in terms of ethics?

As a user of social media, I think that nihilism is a philosophical school of thought that stands out from other schools of thought in terms of ethics. Nihilism is a philosophical position that denies that the universe has any inherent meaning or purpose. This philosophical school of thought challenges humanity's traditional values and beliefs.

In comparison to other philosophical schools of thought such as existentialism, nihilism differs in its approach towards ethics. Existentialism, for instance, is a philosophy that emphasizes individual freedom and choice and tries to reconcile the meaningless nature of human existence. On the other hand, nihilism rejects the idea of anything having an intrinsic value, including human life and rationality. Thus, the nihilist believes that individuals should live their lives according to their own will, and their actions have no moral significance or value.

Moreover, nihilism distinguishes itself from moral relativism, which holds that there are no moral absolutes. In nihilism, there aren't any objective norms or moral standards since there isn't any objective morality in the first place. Thus, there is no morality, and every individual is free to do as they please without any moral obligation.

In essence, nihilism emphasizes the futility and absurdity of human existence, unlike other philosophical schools of thought. This philosophy challenges our fundamental beliefs, leaving us with a sense of uncertainty and hopelessness.
