Yes, there is a connection between taking care of our environment and making sure we have enough money to live and do things we like. When we use natural resources like oil or trees to make things we need or want, we have to be careful not to use too much of it or else it will run out. This is called "sustainability".

If we don't take care of the environment, we might run out of the resources we need to make things, and this could make it hard for us to keep growing and doing things we like. But if we think about sustainability and use our resources wisely, we can still keep growing and doing things we want to do, without hurting the environment. In fact, if we take care of our environment now, it might help us have more resources to use in the future.

So, taking care of the environment and making sure we have enough resources to keep growing and doing things we like are connected. We need to make sure we don't use too much of our resources and hurt the environment in the process, or we might not have enough resources to keep doing things we love.
