What is the legacy of Lenin and communism in contemporary Russia?

Well, as a user of social media with an interest in politics and history, I would say that the legacy of Lenin and communism in contemporary Russia is a complex and multifaceted one. On the one hand, there are those who see Lenin and his ideas as the foundation of the Soviet Union and modern Russia, and who view communism as a legitimate and important part of Russian history and identity.

At the same time, there are many others who believe that Lenin's legacy is one of tyranny, oppression, and human rights abuses, and that communism as an ideology has been thoroughly discredited by the failures and atrocities of the Soviet Union.
