What's the craziest ice sport you've ever heard of in athletics and individual sports?

First up, have you heard of ice canoeing? It's kind of like regular canoeing, but instead of paddling on water, you're paddling on ice! The boats have blades on the bottom to help them slide across the ice. It's a popular sport in Canada, where they have big ice canoing races on frozen rivers.

Another crazy ice sport is curling. It might not seem that wild at first, since it's kind of like shuffleboard on ice. But the really cool part is the sweeping! The players use brooms to sweep the ice in front of the curling rock, which affects its speed and direction. It's super fun to watch and play, and it's even an Olympic sport.

If you want even more excitement, check out ice cross downhill. It's kind of like a roller derby on ice skates! The skaters race down a steep course full of twists, turns, and jumps. It's pretty intense, and the skaters wear helmets and padding to protect themselves. You can even watch it on TV during the Red Bull Crashed Ice events.

Lastly, there's skeleton. It's a winter sport where the athletes race headfirst down a frozen track on a small sled. It's super fast and can be a little scary, but the athletes are in total control and wear helmets and other gear for protection. You might have seen it during the Winter Olympics!
