Has sports journalism become too focused on sensationalism rather than reporting the truth?

I think that sometimes sports journalism can focus too much on making things sound really exciting and crazy, instead of just telling us what really happened. It's important for reporters to be honest and give us the true facts, even if it's not as exciting as they might want it to be. As sports fans, we want to be able to trust what we read and hear about our favorite teams and players. So, reporters should try to find a good balance between being entertaining and being truthful. That way, we can all enjoy the game without wondering if what we're seeing or reading is real or just made up to sound better.
