How has the theory of inquiry evolved over time?

Well, as far as I know, the theory of inquiry has undergone quite a significant evolution over time. Theories of inquiry have also been influenced by advancements in fields such as psychology and cognitive science, which have led to new understandings of how we think and learn. This has led to the development of new theories and models of inquiry, such as constructivism and problem-based learning, which emphasize the role of active participation and authentic context in the learning process.

I think the role of technology has also played an important role in the evolution of the theory of inquiry. Social media platforms, in particular, have made it easier for people to connect and collaborate with others around the world, sharing ideas, asking questions, and engaging in dialogue.
