For example, some athletes and teams emphasize fair play and good sportsmanship by enforcing strict rules against dirty playing or unsportsmanlike conduct. This approach can be seen in a number of different sports, from soccer and football to tennis and basketball.

However, other sports organizations and governing bodies place less emphasis on sportsmanship, perhaps prioritizing winning at all costs or creating a more aggressive, cutthroat atmosphere among athletes. In some cases, this has led to incidents of violence or unsportsmanlike conduct, which can create a negative image for the sport as a whole and even discourage fans or potential athletes from getting involved.

Overall, I believe that sportsmanship should always be a top priority for any sports organization or governing body. Not only does it create a safer, more positive environment for athletes and spectators alike, but it also helps to promote the values of fair play, respect, and humility that are essential to any successful sporting event.

Of course, there are always going to be instances where sportsmanship is tested. For example, in highly competitive tournaments or events, athletes may be tempted to act out of frustration or anger. It is up to the organizations and governing bodies to ensure that these situations are handled appropriately, and that athletes who engage in unsportsmanlike conduct are held accountable for their actions.

At the end of the day, I believe that the impact of sportsmanship on the sport as a whole cannot be overstated.
