Knowing and understanding each child's temperament can help child care providers plan activities that are best suited for them.

Child care providers can also create a routine or schedule for the children in the group. This can include activities such as reading time, singing songs, and playing games. Having a routine can help children feel more comfortable and secure because they know what to expect. Child care providers can also adjust the routine based on the temperaments of the children, such as having more quiet time for those who need it and more active time for those who are more outgoing.
