Yeah, I definitely think green chemistry could play a huge role in addressing the plastic waste crisis we’re facing. Plastic waste is a major problem right now, and it’s only getting worse as we continue to produce more and more plastic products. But if we can change the way we produce and use plastic, we could really make a difference.

Green chemistry is all about creating new materials and chemicals that are more sustainable, less toxic, and less harmful to the environment. By developing new forms of plastic that are biodegradable, for example, we could drastically reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in our oceans and landfills. We could also find ways to recycle plastic more efficiently, so that we don’t have to keep producing new plastic all the time.

By thinking about what happens to a product after we’re done using it, we can create materials that break down more easily or can be used in new ways.
