Think about it. A country that has made sustainable development a priority is likely to have a greater appreciation for their natural surroundings. They will be more likely to have protected areas and strict regulations on tourism activities, ensuring that visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of their environment without causing harm.

These countries are also more likely to offer ecotourism activities that are both educational and enjoyable. For example, in Costa Rica, visitors can go on a guided tour through the rainforest to learn about the diverse flora and fauna. In addition, they can take part in sustainable practices such as composting and reducing plastic waste.

On the other hand, countries that haven't prioritized sustainable development may not fully understand the impact of tourism on their environment. They may offer adventure activities such as ATV tours or jet ski rides through fragile areas, causing damage to the ecosystem.

It's not to say that all countries with sustainable development levels have great adventure travel and ecotourism offerings, or that all countries without sustainable development lack them entirely. But in general, a country that has invested in sustainability and environmental protection will likely have more to offer visitors who are seeking a responsible and enjoyable adventure travel experience.

Personally, I love to travel to countries that are committed to sustainable development and have a deep connection to their natural surroundings. It's such a great way to learn about different cultures and see the world in a responsible way. I always try to choose companies that prioritize sustainable travel practices and support the local economy.
