Additionally, as bronze became more common, it allowed for weapons and tools to be more easily produced, which in turn led to more warfare. Because of this, men who were skilled in combat became more highly valued, and women were relegated to more domestic roles.

As for social hierarchy, the Bronze Age saw the emergence of complex societies with a clear division between the ruling class and the common people. Wealth and power became concentrated in the hands of the ruling elite, who were predominantly male.
