What was the response of neighboring countries to the Korean War and why?

During the Korean War, many neighboring countries responded in different ways. Some countries, like the United States, sent troops to support South Korea. Other countries, like China and the Soviet Union, sent troops to support North Korea. And some countries, like Japan, stayed neutral and did not get involved in the war.

The reason why these countries responded differently is because they had different beliefs and interests. The United States wanted to stop the spread of communism and protect South Korea, which was an ally. China and the Soviet Union wanted to spread communism and support North Korea, which was also a communist country. And Japan didn't want to get involved because it had just been through a war and wanted to focus on rebuilding.

Overall, the Korean War was a complex event that involved many different countries and their interests. Some countries wanted to help, some wanted to fight, and others wanted to stay out of it. But in the end, the war ended with a ceasefire and the border between North and South Korea was established.
