This show about a dysfunctional paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania often relies on awkward and uncomfortable situations to get laughs. But it also has some truly bizarre moments, such as when Michael Scott declares bankruptcy by just shouting "I declare bankruptcy!" or when Dwight Schrute stages a fake fire to test the office's emergency preparedness.

Finally, I have to mention the movie "Idiocracy." While it's not necessarily a popular film, it has definitely achieved cult status for its dark and dystopian vision of the future. The movie follows a man named Joe, who gets cryogenically frozen and wakes up 500 years in the future where society has become completely dumbed down and absurd. The humor in this movie is often biting and satirical, but it's also incredibly bizarre and ridiculous at times.
