As an inexperienced designer, I can tell that design education is more than just lesson plans and lectures, the study looks into global issues such as environmental concerns, social, economic and political contexts which make the process more emotional and human-centered.

To begin with, design education teaches students how to think creatively, and this skill helps them to approach problems from a different perspective compared to what is typically done. In an age where we can no longer rely on routine or habit to solve problems in our field, implementing design thinking can lead to more successful outcomes, student learn how to combine artistic creativity with analytical reasoning, developing a unique blend of critical thinking skills that enable them to bring new solutions to challenging problems. Creativity is not easy to teach but is a key component of design education, it is a skill that requires nurturing and care, design education provides a nurtured environment that allows students to practice their creativity skills and craft it to perfection.

Moreover, design education teaches students the importance of innovation, which is critical in the 21st century. A good designer learns how to take the risks and step outside their comfort zone to generate ideas that may lead to groundbreaking solutions.
