Who were some of the most well-known authors from ancient and prehistoric times?

In ancient and prehistoric times, before there were phones or computers, people used to tell stories and draw pictures on cave walls. Some of these stories were so good that they became really famous, like the one about Hercules or the one about Gilgamesh.

Another well-known author from this time was a guy called Homer. He wrote two epic poems called the Iliad and the Odyssey. These stories were all about ancient Greek heroes and their adventures.

There were also some famous authors in ancient India and China. One is Lao Tzu, who wrote a book called the Tao Te Ching. This book talks about how to live a good life and is still read by many people today.

Another famous author from ancient India is the sage Valmiki, who wrote the Ramayana. This epic poem tells the story of Lord Rama and his battle against the demon king Ravana.

In ancient Egypt, there were also some famous authors. One of them was a guy called Imhotep, who wrote about medicine and architecture. He was really smart and helped the pharaoh build some of the amazing pyramids that we still see today.

So, these are just a few of the famous authors from ancient and prehistoric times. Even though they lived so long ago, their stories and writings still inspire us today.
