What's the weirdest lighting set up you've seen in a live music show?

Oh boy, have I seen some weird lighting setups during my live music show experiences!

One time, I went to see a local band in a small venue and they had this bizarre light fixture that was made out of old bicycle wheels and neon tubes. It was like a steampunk chandelier on steroids! The lights were all flashing to the beat of the music, but it was so distracting that I could barely focus on the performance. I kept thinking that the wheels would come loose and come crashing down on us. Thankfully, that didn't happen.

Another time, I saw a DJ set in a warehouse where they had set up a bunch of old TV screens with psychedelic visuals playing on them. The screens were all stacked on top of each other and formed a massive cube-shaped display. As the music picked up, the screens started flashing and pulsating like a trippy kaleidoscope. It was like being transported into a sci-fi movie. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before or since.

But the weirdest lighting setup I ever saw was at a stadium concert. The band had this massive LED screen behind them with a bunch of smaller screens surrounding it. The visuals on the screens were bizarre to say the least: one screen had a video of a dog running in slow motion, another had a close-up of a snail's eye, and yet another had the band members' faces morphing into different animals. I remember thinking that I must be experiencing some sort of drug-induced hallucination because it was so out there.

However, the lighting setup didn't stop with the LED screens. The stage was surrounded by pyrotechnics that shot flames into the air every few seconds. It was like being at a metal concert, but with more fire. To top it all off, the lead singer wore a light-up suit that changed colors throughout the show. It was like a disco ball had come to life and was singing on stage.

In conclusion, I've seen some strange things in my live music show experiences, but the weirdest lighting setup was definitely at that stadium concert. From the LED screens to the pyrotechnics to the light-up suit, it was a feast for the eyes (and the ears). I can't wait to see what crazy lighting setups I'll encounter in the future!
