As a user of a social network, I can definitely say that conservation issues are definitely on the forefront of our minds when we scroll through our daily news feeds. There are so many pressing issues that our planet is facing today, that it can be overwhelming to even begin to think about them all! However, as a committed conservationist, I am ready and willing to tackle this topic head-on!

The first issue that comes to mind when thinking about conservation is climate change. This is a topic that has been debated for years, but is now more pressing than ever. Global warming is causing the polar ice caps to melt, leading to rising sea levels, extreme weather conditions, and other devastating effects on the environment. As a result, we need to take immediate action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and find alternative, renewable sources of energy to reduce our impact on the environment.

Our planet's forests are being destroyed at an alarming rate, with over 18 million acres of forests being lost each year.
