Measurement of success of blended learning is extremely essential to understand the effectiveness of this new-age method. It's not as simple as calculating the grades or evaluating the grades of students attending the blended learning program. It's more about appreciating the significant differences created by blended learning in different areas of student's lives. In this ever-evolving era, an education system can't ignore the significance of data in making informed decisions.

To measure the success of blended learning, we first need to identify the goals and objectives of the program. Efforts should be made to determine the targets that blended learning hopes to achieve and the benchmarks that we'll use to determine their effectiveness. These goals may vary based on the institution, level of the course/grade, and factors depending upon what the target is, academic performance, emotional wellbeing, or peer relationships.

Most traditional forms of assessment are majorly based on academic performance. In blended programs, while academic performance is still important, the outcome goes beyond it. There is a progression in the level of thinking and the depth of questions that students are required to answer. One way to measure the success of blended learning programs is to deploy performance-based assessments and collect qualitative feedback from students.

Apart from this, technology has been a game-changer when it comes to blended learning. By utilizing learning analytics embedded in educational platforms, we can create a clear picture of student progress. Data analytics will examine usage and efficacy to better understand student engagement and identify areas that may require improvement.

We also need to focus on how the students are learning.
