As a user of both cable TV and streaming services, I believe that the convenience and cost-effectiveness of each option is heavily dependent on individual needs and preferences.

In terms of transportation, both cable TV and streaming services provide the opportunity to access content from anywhere with internet access. However, streaming services are often more convenient as they allow for content to be accessed on a variety of devices, from smartphones to smart TVs. Additionally, streaming services typically offer a wider variety of content than cable TV, allowing for individuals to find the exact show or movie they want to watch without having to switch between channels.

In terms of communication purposes, streaming services also offer the advantage of original programming and the ability to binge-watch entire seasons of a show at once. This can make discussing shows with friends and family more enjoyable, as everyone can watch at their own pace and have more to talk about. On the other hand, cable TV may be more conducive to appointment viewing, as shows often air on a set schedule and can encourage individuals to watch together at the same time.
