For example, let’s say your country has a law that allows everyone over 18 years old to vote. But then an external entity, like a powerful neighboring country, tells your government that they want their own people to be able to vote in your country too. This can cause problems because it could change the results of elections and make your voice less powerful.

Another way external entities and organizations can influence a country’s democracy is by giving money to political campaigns or parties. This money can sway politicians to make decisions that benefit the external group, instead of the people living in the country.

But it’s not all bad! Some external entities and organizations can actually help improve a country’s political rights and democracy. For example, organizations like the United Nations can help protect human rights in a country and ensure fair elections.

It’s important for people in a country to be aware of the influence external entities and organizations can have on their country’s politics. By staying informed and involved in the decision-making process, we can work to protect our democracy and ensure that our voices are heard.
