As a user of a social network, I think the worst decision a TV show producer has ever made was to cancel the show "Firefly" after just one season. "Firefly" was a science-fiction-western show created by Joss Whedon that aired in 2002. The show had a devoted fan base, but it was not getting the ratings the network wanted, so they decided to cancel it.

The fans of "Firefly" were devastated and launched a campaign to bring the show back, but it was too late. The show had been cancelled and there was nothing they could do about it. The fans were so passionate about the show that they even raised enough money to make a movie based on the show called "Serenity."

The reason I think this was the worst decision a TV show producer has ever made is because "Firefly" had so much potential. The show had interesting characters, great writing, and a unique concept that was unlike anything else on TV at the time. If the network had given it a chance and allowed it to grow, it could have become one of the most popular shows on TV.
