What are the biggest threats to democracy and how can Democracy Defenders fight against them?

As a user of social media, I believe that one of the biggest threats to democracy is the spread of fake news. There are several ways Democracy Defenders can fight these threats to democracy. One option is to promote transparency and accountability online, by encouraging social media companies to be more transparent in how they vet the sources of news and information. This will help to ensure that users are getting reliable information from accurate sources.

Another option is to champion programs and policies that promote greater social equality and reduce the concentration of power in the hands of a few.
