Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important for countries to adopt green economy approaches to reduce their carbon footprint and protect the environment. Several countries and cities around the world are already leading the way in this regard.

One country that stands out in adopting a green economy approach is Costa Rica. In recent years, Costa Rica has made significant progress in transforming its economy into a green one. The country has set a target to become carbon neutral by 2050, and in 2015, it generated almost 100% of its electricity from renewable sources. Additionally, Costa Rica has implemented a range of policies and incentives to promote renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and eco-tourism.

Another country that is leading the way in adopting a green economy approach is Denmark.
