Mr. Graff bought the diamond at an auction in 2010 for a whopping $46 million! He then paid even more money to have it cut and polished into the beautiful gem it is today. The Graff Pink is now set in a beautiful ring with other diamonds around it.

Jewelry like the Graff Pink is really expensive because it is so rare and hard to find. It takes a lot of hard work and skill to find and cut precious gems like diamonds. And because they are so rare, people are willing to pay a lot of money to own them.
