How has metalworking changed throughout history?

Throughout history, metalworking has changed a lot. Metalworking is the process of making things out of metal. Long ago, people used to make things out of bronze, which is a mix of copper and tin. They would use bronze to make tools, weapons, and decorations. But then, around 3,000 years ago, people discovered how to make iron. This was a big deal because iron was stronger than bronze. Iron was used to make weapons and tools.

Later on, people learned how to make steel. Steel is a mix of iron and carbon and is even stronger than iron. Steel was used to make big machines and buildings. Metalworking became even more advanced when people learned how to make machines that could shape metal. They used machines to make cars, planes, and even rockets.

Nowadays, we use computers to design and manufacture metal products. We can make things with really complex shapes that wouldn't have been possible before. Metalworking is still really important today because we use metal for so many things. We use metal to make buildings, cars, airplanes, and even our phones and computers!

So, in summary, metalworking has changed a lot throughout history. People used to make things out of bronze, then iron, and then steel. Now, we use computers to design and make metal products. Metalworking is still important today because metal is used for many things that we use in our daily lives.
