What is diversity and how does it play a role in democracy?

Diversity means that there are different kinds of people all around us. People can look different, come from different places, and have different beliefs.

Diversity plays a big role in democracy because it means that there are lots of different voices and opinions. When people from different backgrounds and experiences come together, they bring new ideas and perspectives. This makes our democracy stronger.

When all voices are heard and represented, it makes our democracy fair. It's important that everyone has an equal chance to express themselves. This means that even if you look different, or come from a different place, your ideas still matter.

Sometimes, people might not agree with each other, but that's okay. In a democracy, we can still talk and work together to find solutions. It's important to remember that diversity is a strength that can help us all.
