Are carnivals still relevant in the modern age, or are they a relic of the past?

I gotta be honest, I'm not sure. On one hand, carnivals seem like a thing of the past, something our grandparents enjoyed when they were young. But on the other hand, I still see carnivals popping up in towns and cities all over the world. So maybe they're not completely irrelevant?

I think one thing that makes carnivals still relevant is the sense of community they bring. It's a chance for people to come together, have fun, and forget about the stresses of everyday life for a little while. Plus, there's just something magical about the lights, the music, and the smells of a carnival.

But at the same time, I can see how some people might view carnivals as outdated or even problematic. There are concerns about safety, especially when it comes to the rides and attractions. And some people might argue that the carnival industry could do more to be environmentally-friendly and socially responsible.

Overall, I'm on the fence about whether or not carnivals are still relevant in the modern age. But I do know that I personally enjoy going to them and experiencing that sense of excitement and community. So even if they are a relic of the past in some ways, I hope they stick around for a while longer.
