The UN has been instrumental in providing humanitarian assistance, negotiating peace talks, and leading efforts towards stabilizing the country.

One of the most notable roles of the UN has been to provide humanitarian assistance to the millions of people affected by the conflict in Yemen. Since the conflict began, the UN, in conjunction with other humanitarian organizations, has been scaling up efforts to provide food, shelter, water, and medical aid to millions of Yemeni civilians affected by the crisis. This is essential since the conflict has caused widespread food insecurity and displacement, putting millions of people at risk of starvation and homelessness.
