Who are the most influential leaders in educational leadership across the globe?

Well, I think there are several influential leaders in educational leadership across the globe! One of the first names that comes to mind for me is Sir Ken Robinson. He's a British author, speaker, and education expert who has given several TED Talks on the topic of creativity in education. I've watched several of his talks, and I always come away feeling really inspired and motivated to make changes in the education system.

Another leader who I believe is really influential in this space is Dr. Angela Duckworth. She's a professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and the author of the book "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance." I read her book a few years ago, and it really resonated with me – I love the idea of focusing on perseverance and grit as important factors for success in school and in life.

In terms of education technology, I think Sal Khan, the founder of Khan Academy, is a really important figure. Khan Academy offers free online education resources for learners of all ages, and I know a lot of teachers who use their materials in their classrooms. Khan is also an advocate for personalized learning, which I think is an important approach to education that could help more students succeed.

There are also some influential leaders in education policy who I think are worth noting. One is Linda Darling-Hammond, a Stanford University professor who has been a vocal advocate for more equitable education policies. Another is Arne Duncan, who served as the U.S. Secretary of Education under President Obama. While Duncan was controversial at times, I think he played an important role in pushing for policies like Common Core and Race to the Top that aimed to improve the country's education system.

Of course, I'm sure there are many other influential leaders in educational leadership who I'm not thinking of right now! But these are some of the people who have really stood out to me as I've followed the education industry over the years. I'm always interested in learning about new voices and perspectives in this field, so if you have any recommendations, I would love to hear them!
