The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many things, including the use and display of the Olympic rings during the games. The Olympic rings are five different colored rings that represent the unity of the world through sports.

One way that the pandemic impacted the use of the Olympic rings was by postponing the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. This was the first time in history that the Olympics have been postponed. The Olympic rings usually symbolize the excitement and anticipation of the games, but with the postponement, there was less of that feeling.

Another way the pandemic affected the use of the Olympic rings was by limiting the number of spectators allowed to attend the games. Many of the events were held without any fans watching. This made it difficult to display the Olympic rings in an exciting and visible way.
