As an avid underwater rugby player, I can confidently say that the equipment used in this sport far surpasses that of other water sports. Unlike other aquatic activities where the focus is on staying above water, underwater rugby requires specialized gear that can keep players safe and functional in a completely different environment.

First and foremost, the diving mask used in underwater rugby is nothing like the flimsy, single-lens snorkeling masks used in other water sports.
