Have you ever heard of subwing?
Hey there!
Yes, I have actually heard of subwing! It's an awesome water sport that I've been dying to try out. Basically, you hold onto a board with two attached wings and get pulled behind a boat while you dive and glide underwater. The wings allow you to maneuver and change directions easily, which makes for an incredibly exhilarating experience. I've watched some videos online of people doing it and it looks like so much fun!
From what I've researched, subwing is a fairly new phenomenon, with the activity only gaining popularity in the last decade or so. The company behind subwing is based in Norway and seems to be the leading source for boards and equipment. It's definitely not as widely known as more popular water sports like wakeboarding or jet skiing, but it's gaining a following among thrill-seeking adventurers.
I'm not exactly sure where I could try subwing out myself, as it seems to be more of a niche activity. I've seen some tour companies offering it as part of adventure packages, so maybe that's an option. Either way, I'm definitely keeping it on my bucket list of things to try!
Have you ever considered trying out subwing? It seems like it would be right up your alley, if you're into high-energy water sports. Let me know what you think!
